First Ever Bay Area Theater Week
Get out your jazz hands and maybe dust of your collected works of Neil Simon because, boy-oh-boy, coming up at the end of March is the one and only Bay Area Theatre Week! Part of the reason this is so exciting is that this is the first ever Bay Area Theatre Week, although the level of enthusiasm around San Francisco in general and within the Bay Area’s theater community in particular suggests that this will hardly be a one-off event.
NEMT Travel: The Best Alternative
We are all familiar with the correct procedure of events when we are involved in or auxiliary to an emergency: call 9-1-1. Beer Week: Hazy IPA Tasting Event
Most of us are by this point in time are familiar with the beer known as the IPA. An abbreviation for India Pale Ale, IPAs are usually on the hoppier side of the beers existing in the pale ale category, although even this distinction leaves tremendous amount of room for experimentation. One of the most popular sub-types of IPAs currently on the market is the Hazy IPA. Made with a balanced blend of citrus hops, Hazy IPAs – so-called because of their cloudy color – are a New England original renowned for their striking happiness as well as their fruity notes, including mango and strawberry, that do a tremendous job of cutting down on the bitterness that would otherwise be present. It should come as no surprise that this type of beer is now one of the most sought after, and brewers around the world are all working to perfect their own unique spin on the instant classic.

Late November and December are no different, and this holiday season, if you are looking for some diversion from the gift wrapping and the turkey carving, it might just be a good idea to pile your family and friends into a limo bus and make your way to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for their annual Holiday in the Park.
Swimsuit Required: The 2019 Polar Bear Skate at Union Square
It is no secret that San Francisco and the Bay Area are not the top destination for those looking to get their snow fix for the winter. We are a more temperate zone, which makes for some wonderful outdoor opportunities throughout the year, but it does mean that those who enjoy feeling the nip of frost on their toes are usually out of luck.
