As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to deal its crushing blows to California and the rest of the world, it has come to our attention here at Nationwide Limousine Service that many people throughout the Bay Area are finding it difficult to secure non-emergency medical transportation for doctor’s appointments, trips to the physical therapist, office visits, or any other type of non-emergent medical services that may have been put aside or pushed to the back-burner due to the coronavirus.
We are all familiar with the correct procedure of events when we are involved in or auxiliary to an emergency: call 9-1-1. Then comes the ambulance, the sirens, the spinning lights that rush us through the dark city to the bright hospital. But what about medical transportation when it isn’t an emergency?
