Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Presents: Holiday in the Park
As everyone is well aware, the place to go around San Francisco and the greater Bay Area for thrills and spills, laughs and games is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. One of the largest, well-stocked, and exciting theme parks in the entire world, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is also known for transforming their grounds into a specialized fair depending on the time of year. Late November and December are no different, and this holiday season, if you are looking for some diversion from the gift wrapping and the turkey carving, it might just be a good idea to pile your family and friends into a limo bus and make your way to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for their annual Holiday in the Park.
One of the largest holiday events to happen within Northern California, Holiday in the Park kicks off on November 23rd and runs all the way until January 6th, giving those who fail to reserve any free time during 2018 to still catch the excitement during the New Year.
This year, Holiday in the Park is expanding its classic repertoire to include several new locations for you and the gang to enjoy the holiday cheer and forge some brand new memories!
- Winter Wonderland: Imagine a path surrounded by thousands and thousands of colorful lights, the smells of delicious holiday foods roasting, carols drifting on the breezes. This is exactly what those wandering down Winter Wonderland will experience, and, if you make it all the way until the end, an enormous snowman is waiting for you to snap a photo!
- Merry Marketplace: A chance to do some last-minute holiday shopping, the Merry Marketplace will feature dozens of booths perfect for those looking to grab a little extra to commemorate their trip. Also available will be plenty of delicious food and beverage options.
Of course, the usual delights of season-specific light displays, theatrical presentations, and other goodies will be on hand for all those entering Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. These will join with the usual crop of rides and games to make an enchanting adventure had by all and perhaps even the beginning of a new holiday tradition.
