Silicon Valley’s 7th Annual Beer Week 2019
When most people think of Silicon Valley, they picture in their minds people riding around on Segways wearing Google Glasses and drinking Soylent. We aren’t here to dispute that image. But, it might be worthwhile to expand the definition somewhat, at least if you are a lover of great beer. Why? Because for seven years Silicon Valley has hosted one of the best craft beer week events in or around the Bay Area and if you haven’t made it down at any point during the last six years then now is the time to get going!

In San Francisco, it is almost impossible to avoid the overwhelming number of amazing breweries that lie scattered about the transformed city. In a similar manner, it is almost impossible to find yourself left with a weekend that can’t be spent wandering through some beer-themed festival or other that has taken over one of the Bay Area’s numerous picturesque streets. These days, it can seem as though the amount of bands considered to be “necessary listening” is borderline incomprehensible. Especially if one is a fan of going and seeing the acts live, how is it possible to make it to all of the shows featuring beloved acts? Lack of time, money, and energy begin to take their toll, and soon we find ourselves wondering if it is even worth trying to go see live music anymore.
