As the World Series is for baseball, the Super Bowl for football, and the World Cup for soccer, so is the Stanley Cup for hockey. This is how we can know for sure that our team is the best, where myths and legends are made and frozen on the ice. It is what everything is building towards. This year, for the first time in the team’s history, the San Jose Sharks will be competing for the Stanley Cup. Throughout the playoffs, they managed to topple the Kings, the Predators, and the Blues from their respective towers, and now it the Sharks standing alone as they prepare to go head to head against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the end of this month.
2016 San Francisco International Arts Festival
The San Francisco International Arts Festival is one of the most highly lauded and anticipated events of its kind anywhere in the country. This year, events kicked off on May 19th, and they will continue to occur until June 5th at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture as well as other locations throughout the city. As this is an international art show, contributing artists come from all over the world, representing countries like France, Japan, Lithuania, Serbia, Taiwan, and Columbia. The artist’s exhibits will be displayed in various fashions, from dance to sculpture to film, which ensures that everyone can find something to fascinate and entertain them during their stay in the Bay Area.
