A Bit About The Silver And Black
The Oakland Raiders were a part of the American Football League from 1960 to 1969, and they joined the NFL in 1970. They have won three Super Bowls, the most recent being in 1983. Before that, they won in 1980 and 1976. These exceptional athletes have dominated one AFL Championship, five conference championships, and 15 division championships, and they have appeared in the playoffs 21 times. Although the team spent 1982 through 1994 in Los Angeles, they were stationed in Oakland before then and have been there ever since.
The team is currently owned by Mark Davis. Their President is Marc Badain, and their General Manager is Reggie McKenzie. In 2014, the team drafted Quarter Back Derek Carr of Fresno State, Line Backer Khalil Mack of Buffalo, and Guard Gabe Jackson of Mississippi State, among others. Recently, Jack Del Rio joined the team as the head coach, and his arrival has marked a new era of hope and, what is predicted to be, domination.
And, of course, we cannot forget the Raider Rusher Mascot!
