Columbus Marathon Race Director Darris Blackford told reporters that he wanted runners who could not finish to have a different experience than the one he had when he was unable to finish on one occasion. Mr. Blackford and others who could not finish took a ride in a school bus, a most practical mode of transportation, but also one in which most people over the age of 18 feel a bit odd.
Kremlin Orders Famed Zil Limousine to Begin Production
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered officials to explore the feasibility of producing the Zil limousine, one of the most powerful symbols of the former Soviet Union. Officials at the Moscow factory that once produced the Zil acknowledged that they had received detailed specifications from the Russian government outlining what they want and need in the new limousines if production can begin again.
