Golden State Warriors vs. The Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on June 2, 2016

For the second time in two years, the Golden State Warriors are on their way to the finals. Once again, the two-time MVP Stephen Curry and his team of unprecedentedly talented players are marching straight towards the NBA title, with only one small hurdle to cross over before they find themselves the season’s winners once again.

Unfortunately, that hurdle is a large one: LeBron James. James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are no small matter to shrug off, and since James has basically become the popular face of the NBA, his skill as a basketball player has accordingly grown. To make things even more interesting, this is the second time in a row that the Cavaliers and the Warriors have rushed to meet one another in the NBA finals, and one cannot help but wonder if this will fuel the already high tensions on the court.

That the Warriors have had a tremendous year is no secret. In mid-April, before regular season play was even over, they set the record for most wins in a single season. About a month later, Stephen Curry was awarded MVP for the second year in a row, making him only the 11th player to ever do this. Far more impressive, however, is the fact that Curry’s MVP award came with another distinction: he became the first player in the history of the NBA to win the MVP by a completely unanimous vote.

History has already been made, and yet the Warriors keep going, oblivious to the world around them and intent only on one thing: taking home the NBA title.

If you are in the Bay Area over the next few weeks, consider purchasing a ticket to one of the games played at the Warrior’s Oracle Arena. Although they swap hosting duties with the Cavaliers, there will be plenty of dates that they are home:

  • Thursday, June 2nd, 6:00 Pacific Standard Time
  • Sunday, June 5th, 5:00 Pacific Standard Time
  • Monday, June 13th, 6:00 Pacific Standard Time
  • Sunday, June 19th, 5:00 Pacific Standard Time

It isn’t every day that you get a chance to watch two of the best teams in the history of the NBA go head to head, and it is even less usual to watch them go at it in the finals. This is the moment when history gets made. Do not let it pass you by.
