41st Annual Decorator Showcase Friday Night Opening Party

The San Francisco Decorator Showcase has spent the past 41 years building up a strong reputation as one of the decoration industries touchstone events. The SFDS gathers together the Bay Area’s best and brightest who are working in areas such as interior design and landscape design for a month long showcase of their work and their visions.

To kick off the entire event, the San Francisco Decorator Showcase holds an opening party. This year, the opening party takes place on Friday, April 27th, and runs between 6:00 in the evening and 8:30 in the evening, giving you ample time to meet and greet some of the most adventurous and respected names in the Bay Area’s design world.

While the entire Decorator Showcase will officially run from the 28th of April until the 28th of May, the Friday Night Opening Party is a more concentrated dose of what others will experience when they visit 465 Marina Boulevard throughout the rest of the event. On the night of Friday, April 27th, the various designers selected as the 2018 Showcase Designers will be on hand to display their work while you wander through the three levels of the architecturally stunning home, looking at their displays, speaking to them about their work, and drinking some of the many fine wines that will be available for your consumption.

Ticket prices begin at $225 per person, and it is important to note that all of the money generated through this event goes directly towards the San Francisco University High School Financial Aid Program. The San Francisco University High School is one of the nations best college preparatory high schools, and through the generous support of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, the UHS is able to offer generous financial assistance nearly one quarter of its Bay Area Students. These grants, which total around $2,600,000 ever year, pay, on average, for almost 70% of a selected student’s tuition.

And it is all made possible by the Decorator Showcase and your participation in the Friday Night Opening Party.

For those who will not be able to attend the official party, the Decorator Showcase will still be on view at 465 Marina Boulevard, every Tuesday through Sunday from April 28th until May 28th.
