The San Francisco Pride Parade
The San Francisco Pride Parade is a huge event throughout the city, and has been called a “rite of passage” for residents and travelers alike. No matter what your sexual orientation, the celebration includes events for everyone. The theme this year is “Equality Without Exception,” and the celebration takes place June 27-28, with events at the Civic Center at the foot of City Hall, the historic building where Harvey Milk stood more than 30 years ago and gave an address so memorable they made a movie out of it.
