A businessman has invested many hundreds of thousands of dollars in what he aspires will be the “wackiest Rolls-Royce Phantom ever.” Robert Allan, 62, of Marbella, Spain and other locations is a retired businessman with very expensive tastes in automobiles. His Rolls-Royce Phantom, which has been described as the most modified Phantom in the world, has just arrived at his Marbella estate after weeks of what can only be described as a most unusual makeover. Mr. Allan commissioned London-based car dealer SuperVettura and designer Pablo Rabiella to customize the limo, and all we can say is it doesn’t look anything like the San Francisco Rolls-Royce limo rentals in our fleet.
A vintage Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Long-Wheelbase limousine that was initially owned by Princess Margaret and then bought by Burt Reynolds sold at auction recently and fetched £21,850 or around 35,000 US dollars. The Rolls limo was sold at auction on June 18 as part of Bonham’s Rolls-Royce, Bentley Motor Cars and Automobilia sale at Rockingham Castle in Leicestershire. This extraordinary sale often features vintage Rolls-Royce limousines and other legendary automobiles that draw serious collectors from around the world.
Here at NLS Limo, we are passionate and unapologetic lovers of all things Rolls-Royce. There’s nothing like driving or riding in a Rolls, and we’re very excited to hear that the respected automaker has announced a new version of their wonderful Ghost model. Rolls is calling their new ultra-luxury saloon the Ghost Extended Wheelbase. The new model is designed specifically for those who require extra legroom in a luxury limousine. Since the automaker announced the longer version of their lovely Ghost model back in 2009, demand has skyrocketed, and the automaker has scrambled to fill orders without compromising its reputation for quality and craftsmanship.
