Special Lady Celebrates 100th Birthday With Limo Ride

Australian centenarian Ivy Russell of Percy Miles Villa, Kirrawee decided to celebrate her 100th birthday with a bit of luxury and flair by arriving at her birthday party in the back of a luxurious limousine. Ivy celebrated this impressive milestone on July 30 along with 50 family members and friends at a swanky golf resort. A special birthday cake was flown in from hundreds of miles away for the occasion and arrived intact and, reportedly, delicious.

Ivy married her husband Len in 1936 and has three children, eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was delighted with her limo ride, the cake and the warm company of friends and family. She told her guests, “I feel like I am only 85.”
