If your favorite headliner is coming to California, there’s a good chance you’ll find them at the Shoreline Amphitheater. This outdoor venue is a staple in the greater Bay Area music scene, and it’s particular popular with 20 to 30 year olds.

Moreover, this 22,000 capacity open-air stadium hosts a variety of raved about festivals including the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival and the Vans Warped Tour, and locals rarely miss the San Francisco Symphony 4th of July event. If you spend even a moment previewing the event calendar, it will be hard not to find an act or two (or five) that you won’t want to miss! The only real questions will be regarding which concerts do you want to attend, and would you prefer the reserved seating area – purchase tickets here – or the equally as comfortable, high-energy lawn area? And there’s no question about the garlic fries – they’re a must-have!
The Shoreline is conveniently located at 1 Amphitheatre Pkwy. in Mountain View near Santa Clara, Milpitas, Palo Alto, and San Jose. If you’re looking to avoid traveling north into San Francisco proper, this arena is an ideal option.
The one downside to this much-loved concert space is the traffic, which, let’s face it, isn’t unusual for a popular event center! It’s probably a good sign. However, parking can be atrocious.
