The Hillsborough Antiques + Art + Design Show
So much happens in San Francisco proper, it can be easy to neglect the surrounding area. Some things, however, are not meant to be forgotten. This goes for both San Mateo and The Hillsborough Antiques + Art + Design Show. On Friday, February 26th; Saturday, February 27th; and Sunday, February 28th, collectors from the West coast and beyond will gather together to peruse the offerings of over 200 exhibitors. These experts will have traveled to San Mateo from Europe, Canada, and across the United States to share their most valuable antiques and other works of art with our beautiful Bay Area. The 17th through 20th centuries will be represented at this 1346 Saratoga Drive Expo Hall Event.
Tickets are available online for only $10, and proceeds benefit a good cause: the United Veterans Services. This nonprofit organization raises money and recruits funds to help hospitalized veterans.
Do you prefer to shop local? Recently, The Hillsborough has featured the following local exhibitors: Sekula’s of Sacramento; Adam Babicz of San Raphael; the Joy Kennedy Collection of Santa Cruz; as well as Danish Modern Noho, Fat Chance, and Melissa Levinson all of Los Angeles. Although antiques will be present from around the world, many shop-local opportunities will be available, as well.
From Coro pins to Roseville pottery, Edgar Hunt School of Animal paintings to Gothic Revival furniture, there are so many reasons to fall in love with antiques. Whether you’re new to the scene or you’re a seasoned purchaser of these treasures, we’d love to drive you to the Winter Edition of The Hillsborough Antiques + Art + Design Show at the San Mateo Expo Center.
You’ll be charged for parking at the center. Why not skip the hassle of driving your own car, and allow NLS Limo to chauffeur you to the show? If you’re looking for classic luxury transportation, you can enjoy a champagne toast within one of our handsome tuxedo limousines. Alternately, perhaps you’d like to keep with the theme of the day and choose from one of our antique luxury vehicles. Local favorites include the 1937 Oldsmobile Touring Sedan, the 1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe, and the 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood Limo. We also adore the mint-condition Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Convertible.
