Indulge Cravings at the San Francisco International Chocolate Salon

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on March 7, 2016

Now celebrating its 10th anniversary as an event, the San Francisco International Chocolate Salon will yet again be taking place on March 5th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Fort Mason Center. Salon organizers call it “The Original and Premier Artisan Chocolate Show on the West Coast.”

Conducted within the Fort Mason Center’s Herbst Pavilion, the 2016 San Francisco International Chocolate Salon will comprise of 30,000 square feet of sweet treats, chocolates and fine wines. Visitors of all types—professional chocolatiers, chocolate addicts and generally sweet-toothed foodies—will find a wide variety of unique artisan and gourmet chocolate confections to suit their tastes and challenge their palates.

Each year over the past decade, the San Francisco International Chocolate Salon has brought dozens of high-quality chocolatiers, dessert artisans and other vendors to its patrons. This year, some of the participants include the following:

  • Amano Artisan Chocolate (rated the #1 Bean-to-Bar Chocolate Maker in the United States by the New York Times)
  • Kindred Cooks
  • CACOCO
  • CocoTutti
  • Jade Chocolates
  • Heavenly Taste Toffee
  • Howell Mountain Vineyards
  • Sweet Milalani
  • R&J Toffees
  • Dove Chocolate Discoveries
  • Spicy Vines
  • Alquimia Organic Tequila
  • Sam’s Chowdermobile
  • Ultra Crepes
  • …and many, many more.

Guests of the Salon can look forward to a number of especially exciting details, including tons of chocolate tasting, chocolate demonstrations, new products and flavor launches, presentations from culinary celebrities and authors, book signings, games, carefully-selected wine pairings, a chocolate art gallery and more. Visitors may also find themselves in the shot — or even interviewed — for TasteTV’s “Chocolate Television.”

This year’s demonstrators/presenters include such artisan chocolate experts as Art Pollard of Amano Chocolate, Jen Cooper of Ben and Max Snacks, Michael Poole of Hot Chocolate, Frank Price and Janet Rudolph of Dying for Chocolate and several others.
