Bay Area Events
As we mentioned above, there are a plethora of exciting and fun-filled July 4th celebrations, events, and firework shows spread throughout the Bay Area, including:
- Pier 39 & Municipal Pier – a synced firework show on the waterfront that typically starts at 9:30 p.m. – or whenever it’s dark enough and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Seating fills up quickly, so be sure to arrive early.
- Freedom Festival in Morgan Hill – this popular two-day event begins on July 3rd with the ‘Family Street Dance’ and continues the celebration into Sunday with a 5K run, car show, live music and dancing, street vendors, and a parade. Fireworks begin at dark.
- Downtown Antioch – starting with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m., this East Bay city will provide all-day events including a parade, live music, a car show, and a fireworks display starting at approximately 9:20 p.m. on the riverfront.
