If you live in Northern California, you’ve almost certainly heard of the Freemont Festival of the Arts. Next month they’ll be celebrating their 32nd year! The 2015 event will take place on August 1st and 2nd at Walnut Avenue and Paseo Padre Parkway in Fremont, California.
The foundation of the event has been built upon the works of locally and nationally renowned artists. Potters, textile artisans, painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, mixed media artists, and a variety of other talented individuals will be demonstrating their crafts and offering their goods for sale. Street performers such as henna tattooists and street sketch artists will also be on the scene.
Are your kids enamored with balloon animals? Or perhaps they’d love to have their faces painted! Moreover, fair-like rides, like bouncy slides and wacky houses, and hands-on fun, such as hula hooping and walking on water, are among past festival activities.
