RSSHops on Fire: Spicy Food & IPA Festival
Do you love hoppy beer? And spicy food? If so, the inaugural Hops on Fire: Spicy Food & IPA Festival is for you. From 11 am until 6 pm on Saturday, July 11th, this celebration will take place at the SoMa StrEat Food Park at 428 11th Street in San Francisco.
About a dozen of Northern California’s best food trucks will be offering spicy snacks and meals. There will be plenty of food for vegetarians – such as a hot vegan menu from Hella Vegan Eats – and meatatarians alike. Kokio Republic will be fryin’ up some spicy Korean Chicken, Boneyard will be representing with its sizzlin’ barbecue, Tacos El Tuca will be servin’ up picante Mexican fare, Steamin’ Burgers will be kickin’ up the heat on their old fashioned burgers …and these are only some of the tongue-burning – and totally worth it! – bites that guests will discover at Hops on Fire.
Worried about the heat? Don’t be. Frozen Kuhsterd will serve ice cream just in case you have a mouth-on-fire S.O.S. moment. Moreover, who doesn’t love custard in July? Unless, of course, you’re too full from the beer…
Over fifteen of the nation’s best India Pale Ales will be offered. Green Flash Brewing Co.’s West Coast IPA will be at StrEat Food Park, 101 North Brewing Company will get you hooked on their Heroine India Pale Ale, and Ninkasi Brewing Company will be, well, dominating with their Total Domination IPA.
In addition to hoppy brews and spicy eats, Pellejo Seco will perform live salsa music. This inaugural event is certain to be the first annual Hops on Fire. So, don’t miss Bay Area history in the making!
