Get Loud at the Noise Pop Music Festival

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on January 20, 2020

Live music. Without it, where would we be? In a cold, sad world of headphones, music-playing devices, and dusty instruments. Thankfully, this world is far from being the one we inhabit, and as long as people still have hands, feet, and throats, I would wager that they will be making and performing music for a long, long time.

Those of us living within the Bay Area are no strangers to life-changing music. From the Grateful Dead playing in Haight-Ashbury all the way until today, San Francisco remains one of the most prominent centers for the artists responsible for shaping the way that we listen to and think about music.

Although most music festivals take place throughout spring, summer, and fall, here in San Francisco we like to keep things lively throughout the entire winter, resulting in a wealth of music opportunities and events happening through the longest and coldest months of the year. Coming up towards the end of February, one of the City by the Bay’s most popular and star-studded music festivals will return. Noise Pop, a city-wide event, will feature more than 11 days of music with more than 160 different bands and DJs performing at over two-dozen of the cities hottest venues.

No particular genre defines the Noise Pop festival, so you can expect to hear anything from jazz fusion to funk to EDM to everything else in between. The festival’s organizers, attentive to the modern music nerd’s tastes for everything under the sun, have made certain to include some of the best musicians working in all styles, ensuring that there will be something for literally everyone who enters one of the many venues during the festival’s length.

So who’s going to be there? Expect to see performers such as:

  • The Greyboy Allstars
  • Imperial Teen
  • Duster
  • Washed Out
  • Destroy Boys
  • Tim Atlas
  • Salami Rose
  • M. Bootyspoon
  • Gymshorts

Tickets for Noise Pop start at $129 and go up to $850 depending on the level of VIP access you’re hoping to have. Visit the event site for more details about venues, times, and other amazing features of this great winter festival!
