45th Annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival
‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice lattes, fall harvest soups, autumn décor, and, if you live in the greater Bay Area, you can’t forget the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. This year, on Saturday, October 17th, and Sunday, October 18th, San Francisco and the surrounding area will celebrate this festival’s 45th year! The event is a tradition not to be missed.
Pumpkins The Size of Your Car
October kicks off the holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays, which bring families together and childhood memories to the forefront of our minds, are the perfect time to be a kid… at any age! So, whether your children are young and you’re nurturing new traditions, you and your sweetheart want to spend a special day just the two of you, or your sons and daughters are all grown up and you’re relishing that empty nest – don’t worry, we won’t tell the kids! – the 45th Annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival is an ideal way to enjoy our beautiful West Coast October weather.
Autumn Art, Adventure, & More
The celebration showcases the biggest and best pumpkins. Farmer Mike, for example will carve a masterpiece from a 1,200 plus pound pumpkin! Visitors return year after year for:

- a riveting zip-line experience,
- bungee jumping for the most adventurous,

- …and much more!
For the adults in your party, adult beverages will be available for purchase. Choose from pumpkin-infused ales, autumn-inspired cocktails, and, of course, sophisticated wines from locally and internationally renowned vineyards.
If you live in California, you’re familiar with the Bay Area’s top-notch music scene. This event is no exception. Performances will include:
- The California Cowboys,
- Stealin Chicago,
