Lincoln Plans to Add MKS Sedan to Limousine Services

Lincoln Limousine & Livery Vehicles, a division of Lincoln Motor Company, recently notified its dealers that they will now offer new Lincoln MKS sedan models as part of their limo/livery vehicle fleet program. Limousine services across the country will be able to purchase the new MKS sedans and enjoy the same warranty, support and pricing incentives that apply to other models in the limo/livery program, such as the Lincoln MKT Town Car, Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and the Lincoln Navigator. The new MKS sedan is expected to make its debut at the upcoming 2013 International LCT Show at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on Feb. 5.

Craig Hall, the specialty vehicle account manager at Lincoln and the head of the automaker’s limousine/livery program, recently released a memo to Lincoln’s limousine and livery dealerships, which said, in part the following:

“In meetings with our livery partners we recognize that there remains a segment of the market that would like to provide their clients a sedan offering to complement the MKT Town Car in their fleet. To assist these customers, we are pleased to announce that customers will now be able to order the 13MY MKS sedan as part of our livery offerings.”

Limousine services will be able to purchase MKS models in AWD and FWD versions, and all will be covered by Lincoln’s 4-year/150,000 mile extended service plan. Although the MKS will not be built on a traditional limousine chassis, Lincoln’s designers and engineers have built the ability to extend MKS sedans four to six inches into the product design.
