Grand Ol’ St. Patty’s Party

On March 17th, 2016, film and photography studio Reel Eagle Studios will be hosting an all-out St. Paddy’s bash known as the Grand Ol’ St. Patty’s [sic] Party at the Corinthian Event Center in downtown San Jose. Although Reel Eagle Studios typically focuses on working with the film and photography community, their St. Patrick’s party is open to all looking to have a good time.

In addition to general St. Paddy’s shenanigans and debauchery, the Grand Ol’ St. Patty’s Party will feature live music from California’s own Irish Folk Rock band Avalon Rising, including psychedelic rock, Celtic, and medieval tunes. After the live Irish music, the late night crowd can turn up the heat with Irish-inspired house music from DJ Zen.

Party-goers can also stuff their faces with delicious traditional Irish entrees like shepherd’s pie and corned beef and cabbage, as well as snackable pub grub like garlic fries and Irish nachos made from potato skins. Of course, no St. Patrick’s Day event would be complete without drinking and dancing — and the party will have plenty of each. For a special bit of flair, the party even offers the promise of a free beer at the door for anyone who dresses like a true Celt to the event.

Reel Eagle Studios’ Grand Ol’ St. Patty’s Party will rage on from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Organizers encourage potential attendees to get their tickets early, as capacity will be limited and they fully expect to sell out.
