San Francisco July Festivals

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on July 6, 2015

Every summer brings many different kinds of festivals to the one and only San Francisco. Whether you live here or are just visiting, you will be sure to find a festival that peaks your interests.

Fillmore Jazz Festival (July 4-5)

Every summer, The Fillmore Jazz Festival draws over 100,000 guests gathering to celebrate the tradition of jazz music. The festival is taking place over the Fourth of July weekend this year featuring the best jazz performers in the San Francisco area. Enjoy many varieties from this classic genre from up-and-coming jazz fusion and Latin inspired acts to seasoned musicians performing your classic favorites. Rain or shine, this festival has what you need for a fun, jazz infused weekend. Visit http://www.fillmorejazzfestival.com for more information.

Fourth of July Waterfront Festival (July 4)

Come celebrate our freedom and enjoy a spectacular display of fireworks at Pier 39. There will also be local bands performing, arts and crafts, and many delicious food options for your tasting pleasure. Fun for the whole family awaits at this annual celebration.

Salsa Festival on The Fillmore (July 10 – 11)

Interested in learning how to salsa? Following the Jazz Festival is San Francisco’s 6th Annual Salsa Festival on the Fillmore. Spice up your summer with free concerts, salsa lessons and outdoor dancing at the Fillmore Center Plaza.

San Francisco Frozen Film Festival (July 16 – 18)

Showcasing this year’s best new independent, pop-culture films, the Frozen Film Festival has been dedicated to creating space for independent and youthful filmmakers as well as those from underprivileged communities to broadcast their talent since 2006. Head to the Roxie Theater to enjoy films produced right here in San Francisco. All of the money that is raised goes to helping underprivileged youth recognize and develop their full potential as filmmakers. You will also get a chance to listen to this year’s selected filmmakers discuss the making of their films.

San Francisco’s Jewish Film Festival (July 23 – August 9)

This one-of-a-kind festival is dedicated to honoring the history and diversity of the Jewish culture. Every year, American and international filmmakers come together to showcase their latest works. This festival is the first, oldest and most prestigious festival of its kind in the world. For show times and other information visit http://sfjff.org/2015.
