Comedy Central Presents Clusterfest
For the second year in a row, Comedy Central is partnering with Superfly and Another Planet Entertainment to bring you a one of a kind comedy event. Comedy Central Presents Clusterfest is comedy and music festival that brings some of the biggest and best names of comedy, with musical acts that complement the funny. This festival is a 3 day event that will be held from June 1st through 3rd, at Civic Center Plaza and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now at clusterfest.com.
Clusterfest, at its core, is a celebration of all things comedy. Whether it’s long-form sketch, traditional standup, or the kind that defies explanation, comedy is the key at Clusterfest. Clusterfest rounds out it’s roster of entertainment with several high profile music artists and some of the best food to be found in the Bay Area. Comedy Central is even offering up some one of a kind experiences with interactive attractions drawing from their most popular shows.
Performers for this year’s festival include: Tiffany Haddish, Jim Jefferies, Third Eye Blind, David Cross, Michael Che, Roy Wood Jr., Jinkx Monsoon, Salt-N-Pepa, Bridget Everett & The Tender Moments, Action Bronson, Kyle Mooney & Nathan Fielder’s Video Treasures, This is Not Happening, Bert Kreischer, Last Podcast on the Left, John Early and Kate Berlant, Desus & Mero, Manila Luzon, and others.
Superfly co-founder, Jonathan Mayers, remarked “Last year’s Clusterfest exceeded our expectations and we’re excited to build off that success, reimagining the live comedy experience.” Mayers is convinced that this year’s show will blow last years out of the Bay, as well as blow everybody’s minds in the process.
One really great attraction to the festival is the chance to live out parts of some of your favorite Comedy Central shows. The Daily Show is proud to announce the limited time opening of the Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library, for all those wonderful moments the president has given us. The South Park Carnival is just what it sounds like, enter the twisted world of South Park as you try your best to win prizes and not get in trouble with the carnies.
People who grew up in the 90’s and 2000’s will be happy to partake in Nicksplat’s live version of classic game show Double Dare. You will be allowed to relive your childhood by braving the obstacle courses. Just make sure you wear your least favorite shirt. All of this will culminate in a live one hour show on Sunday the 3rd. For those of you that always wanted to go to Paddy’s Pub, the popular event will be returning to this years fest. Enter Paddy’s and try your favorite drinks and show inspired foods.
