New Living Expo at The San Mateo Event Center

Looking for peace?  Looking for calm?  Looking for answers?  Then, please, join us at the New Living Expo, held from April 28th until April 30th at The San Mateo Event Center.  Hosted by the New Living Expo Community, this event will offer attendees the chance to experience the wealth of new methods emerging for mindfulness, wellness, and overall better living.

Merging together strains of ancient teachings and the newest breakthroughs in mindfulness and wellness techniques, the New Living Expo will afford you the opportunity to explore to your heart’s content the various approaches to living better, deeper, and with more authenticity.  Enjoy workshops that are focused on helping you clear the clutter from your life; attend Yoga classes and singing bowls meditations; receive tarot card readings from some of the Bay Area’s most respected and rigorous psychics.

This year, the New Living Expo has managed to acquire numerous high-profile figures in the  intentional living community, figures such as:

These individuals and others will take stages throughout the weekend to give lectures and participate in panel discussions that cover such hot-button issues as:

• Prop. 64

Being the person you believe yourself capable of being is becoming increasingly difficult in this world, saturated as we are by media slogans, corporate advertising, the politicization of everything.  The New Living Expo is geared to help you slow way, way down, reconnect with yourself, and leave with strategies to help you cope with the world and its chaotic state.  Through workshops, lectures, and wandering through the convention floor you can engage with numerous new methods of living and of arranging your life to be as nurturing as possible.  In addition, the New Living Expo will feature several performances from groups such as Bobbie Delaney (a key member of Inner Obit Arts) and Rudy Colombini and The Unauthorized Rolling Stones.

The dates for the exhibit hall are: on Friday, the 28th, from 2pm until 9pm; on Saturday, the 29th, from 10am until 8pm; on Sunday, the 30th, from 11am until 7pm.  The creators of the festival encourage you to wear comfortable shoes as well as layered clothing so that you can move freely through the festival’s indoor and outdoor spaces.
