RSSCastro Street Fair – A Neighborhood and Greater Bay Area Celebration
If you’re looking for a taste of our vibrant city, consider the 2015 Castro Street Fair. On Sunday, October 4th from 11 am until 6 pm, join the festivities – a Bay Area tradition since 1974 – at the intersection of Castro and Market Streets and beyond. This nonprofit event benefits charitable community causes and funds the neighborhood’s iconic rainbow flag. In 2014, the Fair earned over $76K for its neighborhood beneficiaries.
Let’s Dance!
Enjoy local artists, organizations, local shop vendors, and more. This event is so grand that it features five sub-venues: the Main Stage, Legends Stage, Dance Alley, Castro Alley, and Milky Way. Live entertainers will include Monster Show, Avenue Q, Azure Bellydance, Pop Rocks, and more.
Spend the Day in San Francisco Style
Like most Bay Area events, parking can be daunting. Public transportation is an option, but why not celebrate this Northern California tradition in San Francisco style?
