Are you a dog person? A cat person? Maybe you are neither, maybe parrots or rabbits are your thing. Regardless, if you like fuzzy creatures of any sort, things that bark or squawk or rustle around in wood chips looking for food, then the Bay Area Pet Expo is the place for you. Held on March 11th and 12th, the Bay Area Pet Expo takes place at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, only a short hop from San Francisco. Featuring unique vendors of pet products, live entertainment, and plenty of activities for the whole family (and your pets!), the Pet Expo will transform your dreary existence into a fuzz-filled weekend of cuddly wonder.
Attendees of the Pet Expo are encouraged to bring their pets along, and if you decide to dress your animal up then you might just win the Pet Costume Contest. With winners chosen by the volume of audience applause, you can be certain the the event will bring countless laughs and exclamations of delight as dogs and cats are paraded about in all sorts of festive and formal wear. Or you could just wander around the fairgrounds, exploring the various booths and vendors, taking advantage of some of the festival’s fun activities.

There is no end to the fun at the Pet Expo! Attend demonstrations, lectures, and classes that will help you better take care of your fluffy companion. From workshops on how to correct dog behavior to classes on the best practices to use when trying to travel with a neurotic cat, the Pet Expo is a chance to gather together with likeminded individuals and celebrate the world of domesticated creatures great and small.
The Bay Area Pet Expo will take place at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose from March 11th to March 12th.
