46th Annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on September 1, 2016

Looking for a great way to enjoy the weekend outdoors, taste some of the country’s best wine, listen to music, and let loose?  Then you might just be ready for the Annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival that will be returning to Downtown Millbrae this weekend for its 46th year.  Few things in this world are as commonly paired as art and wine, but now you have the chance to experience it all  while strolling down Millbrae’s picturesque downtown.

The festival creators have outdone themselves this year and the impressive lineup of activities and events includes:

  • A juried art exhibition that will include hundreds of artists, craftspeople, and makers all displaying their passionately created work.

  • A wealth of musicians from the Bay Area that together span many genres, guaranteeing that people of all tastes will find something to love.

  • Speaking of taste, those with a penchant for wine will, obviously, find themselves in a sort of paradise, with plenty of premium wines and carefully brewed craft beer available for consumption.

  • Booths and displays focusing on the home and garden.

  • A car show that focuses on the classic and the cool.

This is no ordinary street fair, and the creators behind this event have worked hard to ensure that those who attend are not confronted with too-familiar scenes while at the same time ensuring that this is going to be an event that everyone, young or old, will find appealing.  The band lineup alone is a testament this fact, and, as we mentioned earlier, it includes many different performers such as:

  • Sol Peligro

  • The Houserockers

  • Neon Velvet

  • Heart Strings Music

  • Bob Culbertson

Not enough?  Then check out the zip-line, the carnival rides, the continual showcase of music and dance happening throughout the street and Playland, which includes a 24-foot rock-climbing wall, inflatable balls that kids can climb into and run in across the water, and one of the area’s best face painters, Linda Vogel.

This event runs from Saturday, September 3rd, to Sunday, September 4th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm both days.  It costs—as do many of the best things in life—nothing to attend.
