During its 34 years of existence, the Fillmore Jazz Festival has grown by leaps and bounds, and now it is widely recognized as the single largest jazz festival that takes place on the West Coast that costs—no kidding—zero dollars. That means that from the beginning of the day until the end, from your first cup of coffee to your last sip of Pernod, you can surround yourself with jazz being performed by some of the best musicians at work today and all it will cost you is your time (and, you know, the cost of that Pernod).

Over 100,000 people will flood the 12 blocks of Fillmore—stretching from Jackson Street to Eddy Street—for the Fillmore Jazz Festival at the end of June, and you are going to want to be one of them! The stretch of Fillmore Street where the festival takes place will not only have Jazz, and if you want to spend some dough then this is also a great time to pull out your wallet and wander through the vendors set up all along the street selling art, crafts, food, drink, and so much more from local and regional artists, craftspeople, chefs, and brewmasters.

The 34th Annual Fillmore Jazz Festival will take place from June 30th until July 1st. Each day begins at 10:00 in the morning and runs until 6:00 in the evening.
