33rd Annual San Francisco International Beer Festival

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on May 13, 2016

If you are the type of person who enjoys the craft of brewing, flavors from around the world, and festivals, then the 33rd Annual San Francisco International Beer Festival, happening on Saturday, May 21st, from 7 until 10 p.m. at the Fort Mason Center Festival Building, is the place for you. Featuring brews from some of the most renowned brewing companies from around the world, live music, and food vendors, the San Francisco International Beer Festival is a self-contained evening of pleasure, and an event that is sure to leave you satisfied and buzzing.

Some of the dozens of brewing companies that will be present for the festival are:

  • Deschutes Brewery
  • High Water Brewing
  • Rogue
  • Rubicon Brewing Company
  • Dogfish Head
  • Alaskan Brewing Company
  • Hop Valley Brewing Company
  • Lagunitas Brewing Company
  • Angel City
  • Spoetzl Brewery
  • Laughing Monk
  • Goose Island
  • Pizza Orgasmic Brewing Company
  • Victory
  • Ghost Town Brewing

These brewers specialize in everything from Pilsners to Stouts, from barrel-aged ambers to tea-infused lagers, and everything else in between or beyond.

In addition to the brewing companies, food will be provided by vendors such as:

  • The Pub BBQ
  • Rosamunde Sausage Grill
  • Capay Organic
  • Belcampo Meat Co.
  • Old Ship Saloon
  • The Green Grocer

The SFIBF is a festival that is about more than beer however. Since its inception, the primary beneficiary for the tremendous income generated by the festival has been the Telegraph Hill Cooperate Nursery School. The festival, considered to be the oldest beer festival along the west coast, is entirely staffed by the preschool student’s parents.

Through this festival, the school is able to meet 90% of its operating costs, which is no small matter.

Finally, while you’re hanging out with friends old and new, you can enjoy the music of Button Classic, one of the Bay Area’s most accomplished cover bands. Playing everything from The Black Keys to Led Zeppelin and The Alabama Shakes, Button Classic is no stranger to ensuring that people have a great time. And after the band, there’s DJ Sol, who’s specialization in blending NuFunk, Pop, and Hip-Hop has earned him three separate nominations for the best DJ of San Francisco.
