RSS34th Annual San Francisco Fall Antiques Show
The nationally renowned San Francisco Fall Antiques Show will be held at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason from October 22nd to the 25th. On the 21st, Antique Show ticketholders will be able to attend the Opening Night Preview Gala, long considered a touchstone in San Francisco’s society circles. Better conceived of as a sumptuous party, the Gala attracts some of San Francisco’s best live music, cocktail makers, and food (courtesy of the famous McCalls Catering and Events) for a night of antiques appreciation and socializing.
Other highlights of the Antiques Show include:

Anyone interested in Antiques will benefit from the vast array of scheduled lecturers and their topics. Included in the schedule are talks on fashion trends and jewelry from the late 19th to the early 20th centuries, an anecdotal and entertaining exploration of castles throughout France, readings from the historical fiction novel, The Walk to Elsie’s, by the book’s two authors, and reminiscences from Brian J. McCarthy and Bunny Williams, two legendary designers from Parish-Hadley.
On October 24th, the Antiques Show will host their Designer Saturday. This much anticipated event includes conversations between Suzanne Rheinstein and Jeffry Weisman on the best way to use antiques in a modern home, and a stimulating exploration of America’s historical obsession with shingle-style roofing.
