A Parker, Colorado couple rented a wedding limo to transport them and their guests for their rehearsal dinner and their May 30 wedding. They and their guests were assembled at the agreed upon time to go to the rehearsal dinner, and the wedding limo never arrived. Making matters worse, the limo they reserved for their wedding the next day didn’t show up either. The couple called the limo company, but the person who answered the phone said the company owner was unavailable.
The very unhappy bride had this to say about that phone conversation: “Someone there answered the phone, and says he was unsure. He said he couldn’t do anything for us in terms of refunding our money, and he was unsure of when the owner would be getting back. He (her husband) asked if it would be next week. And the guy on the phone says don’t know, maybe next week, maybe next year, who knows.”
The couple said that they had been comfortable making their reservations online as the limo company had the Better Business Bureau accreditation on their site. Further investigation found that the limo company was not actually a member of the BBB and had received an “F” rating for previous complaints that had not been rectified.
