Chauffeur Strands Guests After Party Bus Breaks Down

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on October 2, 2012

A party bus service in Colorado is under investigation by that state’s Attorney General’s office after an incident where 13 guests were stranded along a road after their party bus broke down. Thirteen women were celebrating a bachelorette party recently in Denver and had hired a party bus from a company called Mile High Party Bus when the bus broke down 30 minutes after picking them up. After the chauffeur opened the hood of the party bus to investigate, one of the ladies stepped out to offer assistance.

“I’m like you blew something. So we got out and he popped the hood and he was like, ‘I don’t know,’ and I was like it’s your serpentine belt,” she said.

The ladies told a reporter from Denver television station FOX 31 that their driver told them he would try to arrange another party bus for them, but the vehicle never arrived. They said that he ordered them all off the bus, locked all the doors and then caught a ride with a friend, stranding them on the side of the road.

“I think the least they could have done was help find some sort of transportation for us,” said one of the stranded guests.

Eventually, one of the ladies used her phone to contact another party bus service, which picked them up sometime later and took them back to their homes. A FOX 31 reporter made repeated attempts to contact the owner of the party bus service and finally reached him. The owner explained that Mile High Party Bus is one of many websites that he operates and that he doesn’t own any party buses or other luxury vehicles. He said that his company outsources all his business to local party bus services for a percentage of the fee. He told the reporter that he was very sorry about what had happened and would offer to compensate them for the costs of the extra party bus. He also said that he would offer them another party bus rental for free from another provider.

Party Buses and Party Vans Are Both a Fun Way to Get Around!

By San Francisco Limousine Specialist on August 29, 2012

A lot of our customers in the Bay Area ask us about the difference between party buses and party vans. From a semantic perspective, vans are designed to move cargo, and buses are designed to move groups of people. Since we’re in the hospitality business and prefer to view things from that perspective, we can tell you that there really isn’t any difference between our San Francisco party buses and party vans. No matter what you prefer to call them, it doesn’t matter much to us as long as you call us when you need a party bus or party van in the Bay Area!

We often use these two terms interchangeably, and it can spark some lively debates among staff members. However, no matter which side of the debate they end up on, we all focus on the quality of experience that our guests enjoy while riding in them. Our guests rent our party buses for special events, such as these:

While each party bus in our fleet is designed a bit differently to accommodate groups of different sizes with different amenities, our guests can count on the following luxury amenities no matter which party bus they choose:

No matter what type of party van you need or the type of occasions that you need it for, you can rely on us to make sure that you and your friends and family have a great time at a very affordable rate. Simply call your Bay Area limo company and reserve the party van you want for your bachelor party, sporting event, wedding or other special occasion. If you’ve ever rented a party bus, limousine or other type of luxury transportation before, you probably know that not all Bay Area limousine services have the same approach to customer service. For a segment of the luxury ground transportation market that didn’t exist until a few years ago, limo buses in San Francisco and other markets have really taken off in popularity. We’re very proud of our stretch limousines and other luxury rental options, but from a guest’s perspective, renting a limo bus makes a lot of sense for a variety of reasons. Our Bay Area limo buses provide more space to move around freely, more room for luxury amenities, bigger tinted windows that provide privacy and great views, plush leather seating, cool lighting effects, iPod docking stations and much more.
