Teenager Enjoys Limousine Ride for Improving Grades and Choices

A teenager who was chronically truant, troublesome, failing all his classes at school and nearly expelled has been awarded a limousine ride and a $500 shopping spree for making better choices with his life. Ki’Angelo Carpenter’s mother reported that she grew tired of receiving calls from her son’s school nearly every day about his behavior, which resulted in a suspension. After the suspension, the Toledo, Ohio teen decided to make a positive change in his life and dedicated himself to improve his grades and conduct.

During the last school year, he has changed D’s and F’s to A’s and B’s, and his instructors claim that his outlook and behavior have undergone dramatic changes for the better. The young man’s newfound outlook and drastically improved scholastic performance resulted in him receiving the limo ride and shopping spree as part of the annual “Big Give” campaign organized by Kings Kids Academy. The young man did not know of the award until the announcement of his name during a school assembly. Immediately after receiving notification of the award in front of his classmates, Ki’Angelo was escorted to the limo where a chauffeur waited to open the door for his guest. He was then transported to Westfield Franklin Park Mall to begin his shopping spree.
