A newly hired employee of a Dallas limousine company found an innovative way to lose his job recently. The man stole a Hummer limo from his employer and took it for a joy ride with a couple friends. Dallas police say that the 22-year-old man they have in custody is an accountant that the limo service just hired. After stealing the Hummer limousine, the man picked up a couple of his friends and began driving around the Dallas area.
The joyride ended after a motorist contacted police about the Hummer driving erratically and making unsafe lane changes. Police stopped the thief in downtown Dallas, and he faces charges of driving with a suspended license, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and other charges. Police also arrested his two passengers who face charges in connection with outstanding traffic warrants.
